Description

Ashley Fargnoli is a multi-lingual licensed psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. She has thirteen years of experience spanning the fields of mental health and psychosocial programming, international project coordination, education, and human rights. Over the course of eight years, Ashley has focused on the planning and delivery of psychotherapy and dance/movement therapy with children, families, and adults, focusing on group and individual interventions with refugees, survivors of torture, immigrants, veterans, and survivors of gender-based violence. Ms. Fargnoli also has experience in providing mental health supervision, program development, and training to counselors, healthcare professionals, and humanitarian workers working with international populations in the United States and internationally, including in Sri Lanka and India. She has provided trainings on dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, expressive therapies, and staff self-care/wellness to assist with professional development and personal growth among workers, both online and in person. Ashley is an experienced teacher and lecturer with extensive experience in public speaking and facilitation of trainings within university settings, mental health clinics, conferences, and NGOs. She has published peer-reviewed articles on therapy with survivors of human trafficking and refugees. Ashley is a Fulbright Scholar Alumna at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
