Oleksii is an Elections, Democracy and Governance Consultant that holds a Degree in Political Science. His 25 years professional experience relate to electoral processes and procedures, technical assistance to election administration, drafting electoral legislation, international and domestic election observation, voter education, advocacy and human rights, civil activism and capacity building.
Oleksii got involved in his first international election observation in 1996 in Belarus. He observed elections in Central and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Western Balkans, Middle East, North America, Central and South–East Asia as well as other regions. Oleksii worked as an Acting Senior Election Adviser at the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Right of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR), and prior to that as the OSCE/ODIHR Election Adviser. He was also an election analyst and a long-term observer in numerous international election observation missions. Oleksii worked as a consultant with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the Carter Center and other international organisations. He was also a business development manager for the international IT company, that is develops electronic voting solutions and other technologies for election management.
