Nataliia Toropova has twenty years of international experience strengthening and supporting democracy, openness, and transparency worldwide. She has spent five years at NDI-Ukraine managing election-related projects and worked in numerous international organizations, including the UN and the OSCE. During the two years Ms. Toropova served in the UN City in Copenhagen, she coordinated programs in 53 Eurasian countries. These included needs assessment missions and providing expertise to in-country high-level partners. As the UN Officer in Moscow for six years, Nataliia acquired a wealth of knowledge about the intricate developments in the former Soviet Union region. A deep strategic thinker with exceptional political judgment, interpersonal and negotiation skills, Ms. Toropova planned, launched, and supported several successful policy advocacy campaigns at national and international levels. She established sustained cooperation and communication with parliamentarians, key decision-makers, civic groups, and donor communities in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, and many other countries throughout the Eurasia Region.
